Polarimeter P1000-LED manual with LED illumination

The P1000-LED polarimeter is the device of choice for simple laboratory applications in companies and institutes. It is ideal for practical training. It measures optical rotation according to the half-shade principle, with the measurement results being read via an eyepiece and two noniuses. Due to its simple operation, pharmacies also use this polarimeter for incoming and outgoing goods inspection of medicines. In the main field of training in industry or at universities, it is used for practical exercises and experiments on the kinetics of cane sugar inversion, the mutarotation of glucose or the determination of the concentration of polysaccharides by starch hydrolysis.
