Calibration standard for consistently high measurement accuracy

Like all measurement devices, polarimeters should also be calibrated and adjusted regularly. Sugar solutions are widely used as a standard for this purpose. Their disadvantage: they always have to be measured freshly produced. User errors during weighing are virtually unavoidable, and the high temperature dependency of the respective solutions must also be taken into account. Optically active quartz crystals, which are cut and ground from mono-crystals, are better suited for the calibration and adjustment of high-precision polarimeters. We offer you a selection of PTB-certifiable Premium quartz control plates with a factory certificate traceable to the PTB. PTB certification is also possible. We recommend requalification by our service department every 3-5 years.

Premium quartz control plates for the P9000 series can be temperature-controlled via the Peltier elements in the polarimeter.
